Gear couplings from stock

During the weekend a customer contacted Boone because he had a breakdown of a gear coupling. As a result, the installation came to a standstill, which resulted in an unwanted loss of production.

Activities: Adjustment gear coupling

Boone has several gear couplings on stock, pre-machined and oversized.

The dimensions of the existing gear coupling were measured so that the correct type could be selected from the Boone stock, taking power, speed and torque into account.

The final machining (bores drilled and keyway added) was done during the same weekend and the customer was able to install the new coupling one day after the breakdown.

Customer was very happy with the provided service.
