On board MS MCP Hamburg, a broken pinion shaft was found on the Lohmann & Stolterfoht propulsion gearbox type GWC 52.09.

Supply and installation of pinion shaft and bearings

Boone has supplied this pinion shaft with classification. Our technician disassembled the friction shaft in the local workshop (Australia) and fitted new bearings and the new pinion shaft. 

This repair was completed in 3 days. After the repair, the gearbox was tested during a test run and accepted by the customer.
