Modification Rhenania AWN 56 So

For a modification of an existing hopper dredger, our customer immediately needed a hydraulically switchable gearbox. The suction hopper dredger had to be able to be deployed at short notice for work where sand can be transported over longer distances or higher elevation.

A so-called booster pump is used for this work. This pump is powered by a diesel engine via a hydraulically switchable gearbox.

The desired delivery time for this switchable gearbox was 6 weeks. Boone has converted an existing gearbox and provided it with a new transmission ratio by installing new gears. The gearbox housing has also been modified.

This order was completed to the full satisfaction of the customer within the requested delivery time of 6 weeks.
