Inspection proved that this bridge across the Zuid-Willemsvaart (1972) was in bad condition. The coating definitely had to be renewed and the gearboxes were affected by the low frequency of use.
Because many products were custom-made during the construction of the bridge, it was impossible to use standard products. The gearboxes have therefore been completely revised and other parts have been reproduced based on the models.
The final result is a bridge that looks good again and can function properly, also to the satisfaction of local residents.
