Boone supplied these newly built gearboxes as replacements for the existing installation which was not working properly.

Design and supply of propulsion gearboxes

The thrusters beneath the ship are driven by these new gearboxes. Boone was asked to develop a gearbox that could create a distance in terms of height. 

During development several modifications were made. The gearbox now has multiple PTO connections and is equipped with a hydraulic clutch coupling. This coupling can operate in slip mode, to enable a DP2 positioning of the ship.  

Completely delivered with classification Bureau Veritas. 

This delivery consists of 3 vessels with dual drives.
