Heerema - Sibre brakes

We received an order from our customer Heerema to overhaul the brakes that had been on one of the work ships for years.

The brakes were considerably damaged by the weather. The springs were affected by rust and the hinges were stuck.

In consultation with the Sibre factory, it was decided to partially repair these brakes and replace other parts. In addition, some modifications have been made to protect the brake against the weather more efficiently. The brakes have been completely overhauled and are being used satisfactorily again.
